Modular construction does not refer to a style of home, it is a “building method”
Modular homes in Canada are constructed from pre-made modular parts much like building blocks. They are built in a factory following strict state and local building codes. From the factory, the modules are then transported on a flatbed truck and taken to the building site. At the building site a crane will lift the modular sections from the truck and place them on the foundation.
