Modular homes in general are more energy efficient
than traditional stick-built homes.
Our standard manufacturing process uses optimal construction methods in a healthy and controlled environment with constant temperature. Our LoftyPod homes are efficient by the use of specific materials which promote energy optimization by improving air quality and general comfort. This means a significant financial savings in the operation of your home and minimal environmental impact.
Our LoftyPods are more efficient for the following reasons:
We use thicker panels when framing our homes increasing their durability making it easier to transport and install on the foundations. Unlike traditional homes, our LoftyPods are built with 2×6 framing which allows us to insulate the walls more thoroughly.
BETTER THERMAL INSULATION
Better thermal insulation of walls and roof with very high R factors so as to minimize thermal bridges and air movement inside walls and roof. These measures thus allow a drastic reduction in electricity bills in winter and summer. Additionally, modular homes benefit from energy-efficient building techniques that can only occur in a factory. Areas that are impossible to reach during a traditional home build are easily accessible, allowing construction teams to add insulation to electrical outlets, floors, and other primary areas of energy waste.
LOW E WINDOWS & DOORS
We use Low E (low emissivity), triple glazed Argon windows and doors. These glazing units represent an indispensable weapon against energy loss and allow serious savings to be made. They improved energy efficiency by reducing heat loss during winter months and heat gain in the warmer months
